Indigo Workshop
What better way to celebrate Earth Day then on the beautiful Jenner estuary learning about a natural dye technique that combines both creativity, plant based colors and learning about ways we can better help our precious planet.
50% of all ticket costs will be donated to the Jenner Headlands Preserve ~ helping Coho salmon return to the misty coastal watersheds of the Sonoma Coast along with multiple other restoration projects.
Join us at Cafe Aquatica on Wednesday April 22 from 11-2pm for a workshop led by Rachel Alyn, who with over 10 years of natural dye experience has led workshops facilitating beginners and veterans alike to create color on cloth!
Materials provided to create a one of a kind work of art using string, rubber bands, indigo dye and cotton. Leave with hands on experience as well as instructions to make your own indigo dye at home.
